The McBRIDE & DISTRICT CHAMBER OF COMMERCE would like to thank the Candidates, the residents of McBride and Area H, Regional District of Fraser Fort George for attending the All Candidates Forum on October 29, 2014. We would also like to thank Harold Edwards for moderating the forum, the McBride Secondary School, their Girls’ Volleyball team for the concession, Bill Holmes for handling the sound system, the Evangelical Free Church for their microphones, the Valemount Toastmasters for use of their timing lights, the Chamber members and those from the public who helped with the Forum. The Village of McBride, Ministry of Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training and the McBride Chamber partnered on the Business Walk program. We visited almost 40 businesses to gather information and identify opportunities for local businesses.

The McBride Chamber will be representing our members at the trade show.

The McBride and District Chamber of Commerce would like to extend our thanks and sincere appreciation to the following volunteers, without whom the event would not have been possible.

A bang up three gun salute to the McBride and District Volunteer Fire Department who put on a fantastic fireworks display.
A special THANK YOU to Heritage Canada and the “Celebrate Canada” program who helped provide funding along with the Village of McBride and the McBride and District Chamber of Commerce.
And finally, and most importantly you – who came out, had fun and made the day happen – we couldn’t have done it without you!!!
