Thank You!

On behalf of the McBride and District Chamber of Commerce Robson Valley Tourism Committee, I would like to thank everyone for the great success of our 2015 Winter Games Promotion in Prince George Feb 20-22.

Chair’s Message 2015

messageHello and welcome to the McBride & District Chamber of Commerce.

McBride is in the heart of the Robson Valley region, close to numerous summer and winter recreation playgrounds. Our village is known for having wide streets, well planned subdivisions, beautiful parks, world class recreation amenities, great elementary and secondary schools, a caring and supportive health centre, and dedicated first responders, all of which truly make McBride a great place to live, work, play, raise a family, and do business.

But one of the greatest things about the Robson Valley, and the thing I love most, is the people. I am constantly amazed at how people from all over the world come here with unique ideas and experiences and work together to create shared values and the vision for this wonderful place, for the place they have chosen to call home. All that McBride has become and all that the Robson Valley will be is rooted in their talents, dedication, and hard work, and I couldn’t be more proud than to serve as the Chair of the McBride and District Chamber of Commerce.

If you are already a part of our community, and we thank you for choosing McBride. If you are not yet part of our family, we encourage you to consider choosing McBride and the Robson Valley. You won’t be disappointed.

Most everything you’ll need or want to know about McBride and the Robson Valley is right here on our websites, www.visitmcbride.ca and www.mcbridechamber.ca.  Our meetings are open, the third Wednesday of each month (except July and August) at 7:00pm in the lobby of the Evangelical Free Church at 135 Lonsdale Street, and you are welcome to attend.  Our job at the Chamber of Commerce is to help make you successful, so don’t hesitate to contact us if we can be of service.
